Overview
Through other community organizations, 海角直播 (PCS) have hosted international students from all around the world. ?In recent years, students from Italy, Poland, Romania, Brazil, China, Uzbekistan, South Korea and Japan have called 海角直播 and the Stevens Point Area their home. The teachers and students at PCS appreciate the opportunity to work with international students. As part of our International Student Program, you will learn and socialize alongside our American students. Due to the wide variety of school activities such as sports, Destination Imagination, and the theatre, students are able to make friends easily and become a traditional high school student right away. PCS encourages all of its students to step out of their comfort zone and try something new.
The International Student Program at 海角直播 provides student support for all classes through the Learning Resources program and English as a Second Language. Being that all of our schools are smaller in size, International students are able work one on one with core teachers. When arriving, International students will be paired up with a host student based upon personal interests, personalities, and grade. The host students will be expected to be a mentor and guide for the International students both inside and outside of the classroom.
How To Apply
Pacelli Catholic High School has partnered with The Cambridge Institute of International Education & gphomestay to ensure the best possible international program. The Cambridge Institute’s international students program prepares students for life abroad prior to arriving to Pacelli and continues to provide international students with on-going support through the school year. International students coming from China must work with The Cambridge Institute to apply to Pacelli Catholic High School.
